The Nebraska Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is seeking a new Executive Director for the organization. The Executive Director plans, organizes, and directs all activities related to the mission of The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Duties include securing funding for operational and programmatic efforts through successful grant-writing, membership sales, overseeing staff to ensure that program objectives are achieved, evaluating programs, and reporting results to appropriate entities. The Executive Director must be passionately and acutely aware of the needs and concerns of the Latino/Hispanic community. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and works closely with a wide range of community members in both the private and public sector. Oral and written fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

NHCC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DUTIES (Full Time position 40 hrs.week) |
1. To assist the Board of Director creating corporate strategies.
2. Implement the strategies defined by the Board of Directors to help the organization and development of the Latino Businesses in the State of Nebraska.
3. Prepare a Business Plan together with the Board of Directors and the Budget with the Treasurer.
4. Help the different CCHN committees elaborating its plans and projects and help them obtain the resources needed to implement the plans approved by the Board of Directors.
5. Evaluate the different projects presented by the committees and give a concept about them to the Board of Directors.
6. Provide administrative support to the Chapters located in other cities of Nebraska.
7. Manage the Human Resources working or volunteering with our organization.
8. Elaborate the job description documents for the CCHN employees or volunteers.
9. Create and maintain the best relationship with the different institutions in order to reach our goals.
10. Represent the CCHN in the different meetings with other organizations dealing with topics affecting the development of the businesses .
11. Help the Board of Directors in the definition of policies to manage the organization in order to achieve our mission and vision.
12. Implement the use of efficient promotional tools which will allow the CCHN reach the right position in its market and the promotion of the different events included in or yearly Business Plan.
13. Help the Latino Businesses to create solid relationships with institutions that provide them resources to impulse their growth and development.
14. Prepare the reports required by the General Assembly and the Board of Directors.
15. Prepare the necessary documentation about our activities and outreach for institutions related with the CCHN or local government entities.
16. Be present at the Board of Directors meetings and the quarterly General Assembly.
17. Execute or help in other fund raising events lead by members of the Board of Directors.
